One of the main goals of the Young Entrepreneurs Palestine (YEP) is to assist women entrepreneurs to establish, manage and expand their business. YEP applies the latest technology and proven methods of counseling, consulting, training, technical assistance, help access credit, and other specialized services, to achieve its goals in developing the new and small businesses in the Palestine, with special focus on women-led projects.

YEP provides unique opportunities to women to learn management and business skills while working in a business environment. YEP promotes the growth of women-owned businesses through its programs. We consider that mentoring is one of the most crucial and important factors in business success—especially for women-owned businesses. YEP counselors can help women access resources, opportunities and allies available to assist them in building and growing their business.

Working with YEP increases women chances for success. YEP understands the specific situation of Arab Palestinian women, and thus works intensively with all stakeholders to try to empower women in their daily businesses. Women consist half of the Palestinian population, anad thus development in Palestine can never take place, when half of the population is ignored and does not take sufficient attention and assistance to play their required role in development.

Palestinian women proved to be able to conduct business very successfully. They are in the car business, the food sector, the health sector, the education and many other sectors. Palestinian women have proved to be real entrepreneurs. This is a reason why more attention has to be given to businesswomen and entrepreneurs to help them sustain and achieve more success and victory.

Many Palestinian families have lost their father while in confrontation with the Israeli army, and many others have been jailed in Israeli prisons. Thus, such families with a number of females in many cases have to depend on themselves in gaining their daily earnings to feed themselves. With no option but to survive, Palestinian women were pushed to trade and work in this difficult situation. YEP sees a great opporutnity to assist every young Palestinian women seeking to do business and support herself and her family live a decent life and earn the amount of money they need through innovative and entrepreneurial activities.
