Young Entrepreneurs Palestine received Mr. Simon Edward, the director of Moglwi British Association with Mr. Ayman Al-Azza, the director of Young Entrepreneurs in Jordan. This visit aspires to makes real the announcement of partnership between Mogwli British Association and Young entrepreneurs Palestine, which was formally declared in the Investment Forum conducted in London in December, 15 in the preceding year at the presence of the Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad. At the same time, this visit enriches the cooperation and job opportunities amongst the Jordanian and Palestinian Business people especially youths. |

A new board of directors was elected yesterday at the Young Entrepreneurs Palestine (YEP) annual meeting. Mr. Hazem Kawasmi was elected as YEP board’s chairman. Also elected were Zuhair Osaily as YEP board’s vice-chairman, Abdullah Sharawi YEP board's treasurer, Mohamed Jaber YEP board’s Secretary, and Mouawia Al-Kawasmi YEP board’s member. In addition, it was announced that Muzna Shahabi, Haytham Yakhlof, Sami Kirresh and Mohammed Khateeb are new members of YEP board of directors. |

IN September 2007, YEP in cooperation with DEEP program (a UNDP project funded by Islamic Development Bank) started the implementation of a development project for poor young Palestinian entrepreneurs called Enhancing Economic Opportunities of Poor Young Entrepreneurs in Rural Palestinian Areas to assist them in developing income-generating micro enterprises

Enhance Entrepreneurial Culture Among Youth
YEP in cooperation with the U.S Consulate General in Jerusalem (through MEPI Small Grants Program) will implement a 6 month project in Nablus entitled "Enhance Entrepreneurial Culture Among Youth." The project will work through local youth clubs in Nablus to encourage youth aged 15-17, particularly young Palestinian entrepreneurs to engage in intellectual activities and hone their critical thinking and entrepreneurship skills. A series of workshops and training sessions will be utilized to implement the project. Participants will be selected from youth clubs in 10 villages in Nablus.
