Ramallah, (August 18, 2008) — a new board of directors was elected yesterday at the Young Entrepreneurs Palestine (YEP) annual meeting. Mr. Hazem Kawasmi was elected as YEP board’s chairman. Also elected were  Zuhair Osaily as YEP board’s vice-chairman, Abdullah Sharawi YEP board's treasurer, Mohamed Jaber YEP board’s Secretary, and Mouawia Al-Kawasmi YEP board’s member. In addition, it was announced that Muzna Shahabi, Haytham Yakhlof, Sami Kirresh and Mohammed Khateeb are new members of YEP board of directors.

Mr. Hazem Kawasmi outlined a number of important priorities for the YEP association over the next year. “Thousands of young Palestinian people need our support to find jobs and start-up their businesses. Our business development services will be expanded to cover different Palestinian areas from north to south, to assist young men and women (especially those with scarce resources) participate effectively in the economic development of Palestine.”
